Community Projects

We believe in building digital confidence from the ground up. Our community strand focuses on creating inclusive opportunities for young people who are underrepresented in tech.

  • We run after-school and weekend clubs in trusted community spaces, giving young people a safe and supportive environment to explore computing.

  • Our pop-up tech labs and creative digital workshops allow young people to experiment with coding, design, and problem-solving—regardless of access to devices at home.We work with community groups, housing providers, and youth clubs to reach those most at risk of digital exclusion.

  • Projects are built around real-world issues and social impact, including charitable enterprise and digital storytelling.

  • Our work creates connections between young people, their families, and tech role models from similar backgrounds—showing what’s possible when confidence and opportunity meet.

Students

Curriculum Support

We help schools build confident computing cultures without relying on expensive subscriptions or outside consultants.
 

  • We support teachers to deliver the computing curriculum confidently, using their existing devices and infrastructure.

  • Our team can teach independently or co-deliver sessions, building staff skills while delivering high-quality, engaging lessons.

  • We challenge young people to think computationally—breaking down problems, working through solutions, and collaborating as a team.

  • We run full-day workshops with industry professionals to raise aspirations and bring careers in tech to life.

  • We help schools design a bespoke, whole-school computing plan that’s practical, sustainable, and meaningful for all learners.

Community Programmes

Bringing creativity, tech and purpose to the young people who need it most. Across Greater Manchester, too many young people are being left behind. Excluded from school. Disengaged from opportunity. Written off by systems not designed for them. At Computing Reddy, we meet these young people where they are, in youth clubs, libraries, schools, and community spaces, and create hands-on learning experiences that reconnect them to their potential.

 

Our enterprise-based community programmes focus on:
